Jeni has a history of commitment to non-profit organizations focused on educational outreach, progressive social change, and grassroots pro-activism. She was drawn to GCCH because of her passion for combating social inequality. After receiving a B.S. in Social Science from Boise State University in 2004, Jeni uprooted to Cincinnati to pursue a Masters of Art in Women's Studies at the University of Cincinnati, where she served as an Adjunct Professor after earning her degree. Jeni is the mother of two beautiful children and young activists: her son is an aspiring guitarist and skateboarder, and her daughter is a promising pianist, violinist, and fine artist. At GCCH, Jeni works with the Streetvibes vendors, coordinates the Speaker's Bureau and manages the sale and development of the Education Packet.
Gregory has worked in journalism since 1981. Gregory's work as a reporter included breaking the story in 1989 about widespread illegal wiretaps placed by Cincinnati Police officers with help from phone-company personnel, a scandal that was eventually covered by 60 Minutes and major national newspapers. His previous assignment was news editor at CityBeat from 2000 to 2008. Gregory hopes to hone Streetvibes' journalistic quality by giving readers more local content, especially stories not found in other media, and by expanding its roster of contributors.
