We are thrilled to be honoring those that are making a powerful impact in Greater Cincinnati. All of the award winners and selected nominees of the buddy gray Award will be honored at the ceremony on December 5, 2024.
buddy gray Award
This award, given in memory of buddy gray, is reserved for an individual who has dedicated their life to social justice for the betterment of all of our lives.
Qualifications: Lifetime community activism, working over 15 years on behalf of and in partnership with people with low-incomes and/or experiencing homelessness in the Greater Cincinnati area to improve the quality of life for all and address systemic issues attached to poverty.
Julie Martin Service Provider
of the Year Award
This award is for the individual or agency who has provided exemplary services to people experiencing homelessness in Greater Cincinnati and has shown dedication to the mission of ending homelessness in Greater Cincinnati.
Qualifications: Must be an individual, agency or program that has worked/operated in Greater Cincinnati serving people experiencing homelessness.
Jimmy Render Award Nomination Form
This award honors individuals who are currently experiencing homelessness or have in the past and have defied the odds and subsequently committed themselves to addressing the needs of people experiencing homelessness.
Qualifications: Individual who is experiencing homelessness or has in the past and who has committed themselves to the alleviation of homelessness.
Young Advocates Award Nomination Form
This award honors outstanding young leaders who are committed to promoting awareness about homelessness and whose actions have supported people experiencing homelessness.
Qualifications: Must be an individual or group that has demonstrated a commitment to addressing systemic issues related to poverty and eradicating homelessness.
